Repairs Overview

Track customer repair jobs from intake to completion and checkout.

What You Can Do

  • Create repair tickets - Log items for repair

  • Track progress - Monitor repair status

  • Record work done - Document labour and parts

  • Notify customers - Let them know when ready

  • Checkout repairs - Complete and take payment

Repair Workflow

Intake -> Diagnosis -> In Progress -> Complete -> Ready for Pickup -> Collected
  1. Intake - Customer drops off item

  2. Diagnosis - Assess the problem

  3. In Progress - Work being done

  4. Complete - Repair finished

  5. Ready for Pickup - Customer notified

  6. Collected - Customer picked up

Accessing Repairs

  1. Click Repairs in the main menu

  2. See all current repairs

  3. Filter by status or customer

Repair Information

Tips

Write detailed problem descriptions so technicians know what to look for.

Keep status updated so customers can check progress.

Document item condition at intake to avoid disputes.
