Point of Sale Overview

The Point of Sale (POS) is where you process customer sales. It's designed to be fast and easy to use, with support for barcode scanning and multiple payment methods.

Accessing the POS

From the Dashboard, click Point Of Sale in the main navigation menu, or the + New Sale, or Sales.

POS Screen Layout

The POS screen has two main areas:

Left Side - Product Search

  • Search box for finding products doubles as barcode scanner input

  • All products plus search results

Right Side - Actions

  • Customer selection

  • Items added to the current sale

  • Quantity and price for each item

  • Running total including GST

  • Payment buttons

  • Cart actions (hold, clear)

Search or scan products to add to cart

Adjust Quantities

Change item quantities or remove items

Apply Discounts

Add line or sale discounts

Select Customer

Link sale to a customer account

Process Payment

Accept cash, card, account or split payments

Print Receipt

Print or email receipt to customer

Hold Sale

Save cart to complete later

Quick Start

  1. Search or scan a product to add it to the cart

  2. Continue adding items as needed

  3. Click Pay when ready

  4. Select the payment method and complete the sale

  5. Print or email the receipt
