Managing Products
Administrators can add, edit, and bulk manage products.
Access Products from the Inventory Management section in the sidebar menu
Adding Products
Single Product
Within the Administration Panel > go to Products
Click New Product
Complete product details
Click Create to save the product

Product Fields
Every product will need Basic Information added, as well as additional detail:
Name - product name - required
SKU - unique stock code - required
Barcode - scannable barcode number - Optional
Category - product category - required
Supplier - supplier of product to you - required
Description - product details - required
Short Description - short product details - required
Additional details:
Pricing & Costs - set base price, cost price and GST
Inventory - set starting stock levels and reorder triggers
Physical Properties - set dimensions, weight details
Additional Info - set brand, size, materials and other details
Product Status
In the product summary dashboard, you can view each product, and its status.
Active - tracked and ready to sell. Visible in POS
Inactive - inactive and not available to sell. Not visible in POS
Editing Products
Find the product from the Product Summary Dashboard.
Click Edit
Make changes
Save

Bulk Editing
To edit multiple products at once:
From the dashboard, select products (checkboxes)
Click Bulk Actions
Choose action:
Delete Selected
Activate Selected
Deactivate Selected
Change category
Update prices
Stock Adjustment
Click the action to apply to all selected products

Importing Products
To import a product, visit System Tools in the admin sidebar menu > Data Imports. This admin page will provide guidance to effectively import products and other data items. 
CSV Import
First, download the Product Template from the Download Template option.

Complete the CSV template as per the format.
Return to the Import Product option
In the Data Import menu > Select Products
Click Import
Upload the CSV file
Review and click Start Import
Import Tips
Use exact category names
SKUs must be unique
Check for duplicates
Categories
Creating Categories
Within the Administration Panel > go to Categories
Click New Category
Enter name and Basic Information and Display Settings, SEO & Meta, Additional Data
Select parent category (optional)
Click Create to save the new category

Tips
Always set SKUs - they help with stock management.
Enter cost prices to track profit margins.
Use CSV import when adding many products at once.
Review and deactivate products you no longer sell.
