Managing Products

Products are the items you sell. This guide covers viewing and editing product details.

Viewing Products

1. Go to Items in the main menu

2. Browse or search for products

3. Click a product to view details

Product Information

Editing a Product

1. Find the product

2. Click the Edit button

3. Make your changes

4. Click Save

What You Can Edit

• Name and description

• Prices (sell price, cost price)

• Category

• Barcode

• Stock levels (via adjustment)

• Active/Inactive status

Product Status

| Status | Meaning | |--------|---------| | Active | Available for sale | | Inactive | Hidden from POS | | Discontinued | No longer stocked |

Tips

Review current stock and recent sales before changing prices or deactivating products.

Organise products into categories for easier searching and reporting.
